The daily support and guidance inherent in strong relationships with teachers are augmented by a comprehensive approach to life skills, character development, and health, which is integrated into the academic program. Essential information and skills that are relevant to particular subjects are included in the syllabus for those subjects. Time for special topics is taken out of the weekly grade-level seminar periods. Bi-weekly advisor group meetings provide opportunities for discussion, reflection, and skills practice related to those topics in an atmosphere of trust.
