  • Boys Basketball (11-7)

The last full season for the Vikings saw them in the CIF State Tournament. This year was going to be reloading of sorts with nearly the entire team first-year varsity players. Still, they were able to win over ten games with a challenging schedule. Their longest win streak of the year was a modest three-game one, early on in the season. Their highest point total of the year, 77, came on senior night, winning 77-23 over Lennox Academy. Unfortunately, they fell one win short of qualifying for CIF.
  • Boys Soccer (10-2)

The boys' soccer team had a great year, winning ten games and finishing second in the Coastal League. They got off to a hot start winning their first five games, outsourcing opponents 29-3. After the Vikings suffered their first loss of the season, they rolled off five straight. They entered the CIFSS Playoffs hosting a Wildcard match vs Linfield Christian. Unfortunately, that’s where the season ended. The future is bright for the Vikings as they look to build on this season’s success.
  • Girls Basketball (15-7)

The girls' team welcomed three new coaches this year and had one of the best seasons in school history. At one point during the season, the girls were ranked No. 1 in the CIFSS Division 5A Rankings, a first in school history. With a strong second-place finish in the league, the girls entered the playoffs as the No. 2 overall seed. They were able to defeat Compton College Prep in the first round of the playoffs but would fall to Workman in the second round. At the end of the year, Dior N. was named to the Second Team All-CIFSS for Division 5A. Looking for another great season in 2022/23.
