On October 14, Vistamar School hosts our Multicultural Student College Fair on campus. Nearly one hundred colleges, universities and service academies exhibit at the fair—these institutions seek to meet Los Angeles area high school students of all backgrounds.
Over the last several years, the list of attending institutions include some of the nation’s most selective colleges such as Harvard, Stanford, Dartmouth College, MIT, Princeton, UCLA and the University of Chicago. There are also many private liberal arts colleges, public institutions from numerous states across the country, as well as, several historically black colleges and universities in attendance.
Four optional workshops will be presented during the fair - two financial aid information sessions (one in English and one in Spanish), the Historically Black College Experience, and Creating Options in the College Search: Finding the Right Fit for You. Each 40 minute workshop is designed to help parents and students make knowledgeable decisions during the college application process.
No pre-registration required for the October 14 College Fair. Doors will open at 2:00 p.m. and workshops begin at 2:30 p.m. There is limited parking available on site - Metro and ride sharing is encouraged.
