Spring Student Athletes Participate in Richstone Walk

Vistamar's Spring student athletes participated in the Richstone Walk this weekend in Manhattan Beach.
Vistamar's Spring Student-Athletes spent Saturday morning volunteering at the 32nd Annual Richstone Walk in Manhattan Beach. The Richstone Walk represents a major fundraising event for the Richstone Family Center, one of the most progressive centers for the treatment and prevention of child abuse in Los Angeles.  Vistamar students helped the event run smoothly by taking on a variety of tasks from registering walkers to passing out refreshments to managing information booths and pre-Walk activity stations.  They also stayed behind after the Walk to assist with event break down and clean up.  Following her experience junior swimmer Annie S. '20 had this to say, "It was great joining together with the other Spring athletes to do something positive for the community.  I really enjoyed seeing the Walkers come back and the happiness on all of their faces."
