Field Trip to Japanese American National Museum
The English 12: L.A. Stories class visited the Japanese American National Museum (rain notwithstanding), to learn more about the history and place featured in the novel Southland by Nina Revoyr.
A highlight of the trip was stopping in at Fugetsu-do, a family-owned confectionary established in 1903 and situated in Little Tokyo's historic district.
