Don't miss out on meeting Vistamar families and learning more about the city we live in!
Our invitations read like a travel guide to Los Angeles. “Take a Moonlight walking tour of Downtown LA and then relax atop a revolving restaurant.” “Watch the sunset over the city during a full moonrise.” “Enjoy a nature photography exhibit,” or “Visit Rodin’s ballerina sculptures after a brunch with friends.” Vistamar is a community not just for students. PAVE’s Culture Club offers parents opportunities to bond with other parents while exploring the cultural riches of Los Angeles. Every month we offer outings, some during the school day for parents who can schedule around their work obligations. And a few times a year we arrange family outings to museums such as the Peterson Automobile Museum or the Natural History Museum. It’s a chance to get to know other Vistamar families organically. We always combine our trips with a fun meal. On January 20 we are taking our second annual trip to the Griffith Observatory during the full moon. If you’re not traveling over the long weekend, please join us! We’re renting a luxury bus to make the trip hassle free. And in May we will once again take an evening walk through DTLA with a guide from the LA Conservancy.
Los Angeles has a huge number of museums, exotic neighborhoods and cultural gems to explore. We get to places such as Watts Towers, the Venice Mural Tile House and Union Station. Places you never knew existed, or destinations you’ve always wanted to visit, but never found the time.
