Boys Varsity Soccer:Vistamar Vikings went into the half trailing 0-3 and playing 9 vs 11 due to illness. The boys came back to tie the game 3-3. Carson DM., and Trevor J., connected for two of the goals with Carson scoring two and Trevor assisting. Trevor also scored one as he turned on the Geffen defense and tucked it in the back of the net.
Boys Varsity Basketball:The Varsity Boys Basketball team traveled to Jane Addams Middle School on Wednesday night for a non-league game against Environmental Charter. The Vikings raced out to a 23-9 first quarter lead as they used efficient ball movement to knock down five three-pointers during the period. Fanuel A., led the strong start with 11 points in the quarter on his way to a team high 16 for the game. The team's solid play on both the offensive and defensive ends continued into the second quarter as they entered the half with a 39-15 lead. Vistamar cruised in the second half and secured the victory 69-46. Royce S., and Jordan F., dominated the paint throughout the game in scoring 14 and ten points respectively.
Boys Varsity Soccer: Vistamar boys went down 1-0 early in the game to New Roads but shot right back and put two goals in the back of the net to gain the lead back. These two goals then opened the flood-gates for the Vikings to take the game 8-1. Carson DM., had a hat trick in the first half. Chris C., scored from a set piece and Diego V., pulled the strings in midfield to assist a majority of the goals scored. But aside from that an overall solid performance from the boys!
Boys Varsity Basketball: Topped Wilwood 47-38. Jaylen B., and Collin D., each had ten points while Gavin E., and Michael E., both played strong inside and had eight points each.
Girls Varsity Basketball: The girls lost to Wildwood 47-25.
