Blue & Gold Fundraiser

The Blue & Gold is Vistamar's biggest fundraising event each year.  It is a great night that brings the Vistamar community together in support of the mission and vision of the School.

This year, the Blue & Gold will be held at the Shade Hotel in Redondo Beach on May 4, 2019. 

It takes a truly amazing team of staff, faculty, parent volunteers, and community supporters to make the evening a success. We hope you will join us to make this a fun and successful evening!

  • Q: How do I purchase tickets

    There are 2 ways you can purchase tickets:
    • By mail: return the completed RSVP card with cash, check or credit card information
    • Electronic: 
      • Select the ONLINE EVENT REGISTRATION LINK below and complete the form
      • On the confirmation page that appears when you have completed the form, there will be a link to the TICKET PAYMENT PORTAL. Click that link and enter your credit card information to pay for your tickets or table.

    If you would like to purchase a table but are unable to list your guests' names at the time of purchase, please feel free to make the purchase and we will follow up with you as we get closer to the event date.
  • Q: How much are tickets/tables?

    • Blue Table for 10: $5,000.00
    • Gold Table for 8: $2,500.00
    • Teacher Table: $1,000.00 (includes 2 tickets for the purchaser)
    • Individual tickets: $150/ticket
    • Teacher Ticket: $150/ticket
  • Q: Can I make seating requests?

    Please do. It makes our jobs easier when planning tables. While we cannot make any promises, we will try our best to accommodate all requests. The only way to have guaranteed seating with particular guests is to purchase a table.
  • Q: What are the entree selections?

    Entree 1: Roasted Sea Bass (Fennel, Forest Mushrooms, Sherry, Grapefruit) 
    Entree 2: Blue Cheese Crusted Fillet Mignon au jus (Yukon Gold and Yamp Gratin, Piquillo Confit, Roasted Asparagus, Pepitas)
    Entree 3: Cauliflower Steak (Cauliflower puree, Romanesco Couscous, Sofrito, Pomegranate) VEGETARIAN

    *Please let us know if you have food allergies. We are happy to make accommodations.
  • Q: How can I volunteer?

    Volunteers are welcome! There are many ways to get involved:
    • Planning - décor/floral arrangements etc.
    • Item pick up - from donors around town
    • Packaging and assemby - napkin folding, floral arrangements, packaging gift baskets, name tag assembly
    • Clerical - mailing
    • Set up - we always need help with set up at the hotel on the day of the event (any time you can give us is appreciated)
    And of course, asking local businesses for auction items!

  • Q: How do I donate an auction item?

    There are two ways to donate an item:
    1. Download and print the auction item form, fill it out and return it to the Development office
    2. Click on the "ONLINE AUCTION ITEM DONATION FORM" link to submit your item description electronically
    We would appreciate it very much if you would send in your donation description as soon as possible. The actual item can be delivered by April 16th. We are are more than happy to arrange item pick up if you are unable to get it to the school.

  • Q: What do I wear?

    Fun cocktail chic (and make sure to have your dancing shoes on)

    This year we have a lovely patio area as well as indoor dinner seating. While the patio is heated, it's best to bring something warm just in case.
  • Q: Where can I park?

    There will be hosted self parking on the hotel premises.
